My vision for Mystical Maytime was to craft a captivating medieval fantasy event that celebrated the essence of spring. Alongside my co-host, I aimed to unite models, photographers, and other creative talents to collaborate and capture enchanting imagery. A vision of intricate sets and props—such as a maypole, a swing, a canoe, and stunning floral installations—setting the stage for the day’s magical adventures.

WEAVING A FLOWER CROWN & MAYPOLE
The day began with a festive flower crown making with @Shells_Flowers that followed with a dance and shoot around the Maypole.

As the day unfolded, four talented photographers framed mystical moments for the following themes: Swords and Daggers, Ethereal, Camelot, Pirates, Fairy Goddesses, and more…

"For me, as a photographer, the event was a perfect gathering of creative minds. Everyone, from the models to vendors, to the location graciously hosted and organized by Everlore Events, came together, bringing their unique visions to create this collective art out of shared interests. I was grateful to work alongside other talented photographers including Lost Lands Collection, who were willing to give their time and expertise and open up their considerable wardrobe and props to contribute to such a great event. The connections I’ve made from this event have already stemmed into friendships, and I can’t wait to work with more from this amazing group in the future."

“I've never felt more like myself than when I'm dressed as a fantasy character—a knight, fairy, elf, or mystical medieval maiden—and at this event, I had the chance to be all of them. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the only one in my friend group who loves to dress up and escape into a different world. So, being surrounded by so many like-minded creatives who share the same passion for bringing a little magic into the everyday was truly special. I made friendships that I know will last a lifetime. This was my very first fantasy photoshoot, and honestly, I haven't had this much fun since my wedding. Melanie from Everlore Events and Marianne from Lost Lands Collections created such a magical experience that it’s something I’ll treasure forever. I’m already looking forward to attending more photoshoot retreats in the future!"
